Schezwan Masala Cheese Pav

Made some hot pav at home and lost on what to do next? Raining outside and all you are craving for is a tasteful companion to your cup of tea? Masala cheese pav is a quick snack or often a mealful option.

Masala cheese pav with a hot cup of masala tea!

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • ½ green capsicum
  • ½ red bell pepper
  • 1 cup boiled corn
  • 1 cup olives
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • Black pepper
  • Oregano
  • Chilli Flakes
  • Peri Peri masala
  • Salt
  • Schezwan sauce
  • Tomato sauce
What went into this delicious pav dish?

Procedure:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and onion and saute till they turn golden brown
  2. Add all other vegetables and cook till they turn soft
  3. Add schezwan sauce and tomato sauce and cook well
  4. Add all the dry ingredients and cook it well
  5. Let the mix cool off. Add grated cheese to the prepared mix and mix it well
  6. In a pan heat some butter. Till the butter heats up, take a pav cut it from the center. Put green chutney on one side and tomato sauce on the other. Add the prepared masala along with grated cheese between the two sides
  7. Cook both the sides of the masala pav on the pan and serve hot

Serving suggestions:

  • Instead of tomato sauce, tamarind chutney can be used on the pav
  • For garnishing, use sev (Indian crunchy snack) and chutneys
  • Best served with a cup of hot masala tea
