Paneer Schezwan Fried Rice

The delicious, super quick, flavourful bowl of happiness is a go to recipe with your Chinese platter. This bowl of yumminess can be made in less than 30 minutes including preparation time with simple ingredients.

Paneer schezwan fried rice

Ingredients:

  • 1 big bowl of boiled rice
  • 1-2 chopped green chili
  • 4-5 finely chopped garlic
  • 1 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 cup finely chopped capsicum (mix of green, yellow and red)
  • 1 cup finely chopped carrots
  • ½ cup boiled corn
  • ½ cup thinly sliced baby corn
  • ½ cup greens of green onion
  • 2-3 tbsp schezwan sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 cup of diced paneer
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oregano
  • Chili flakes
  • Oil

Procedure:

  1. In a pan, heat some oil and add chopped chili and garlic
  2. Now, add chopped onion. When onion turns golden in colour add capsicum and sauté the veggies
  3. Add carrots and baby corn. Let it cook for a while and then add boiled corn and paneer
  4. Add schezwan sauce, tomato ketchup, soya sauce and vinegar. Mix well so that all the veggies and paneer cubes get coated with the sauce
  5. Add salt, oregano and chili flakes and mix well
  6. Add rice to the prepared sauce and mix well
  7. Add chopped green onions and mix well. Serve hot
