When salads can be flavourful, why to have it plain. Keeping up with our experiments with salads, we brought together avocado with fresh mozzarella to zing up the ordinary onion, tomato and cucumber salad. Avocado goes well with not only breads but also salads. Our today’s salad is not only rich in vitamins and minerals but is also a good source of protein with fresh mozzarella in it. This is a quick recipe with minimal efforts to create that bowl of freshness and goodness.

Ingredients:
- ½ cup onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup cucumber, sliced into halves
- 6-7 cherry tomato
- 1 avocado, diced
- 150 gm fresh mozzarella, diced
- ½ cup croutons
- Salt, to taste
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- Oregano
- Chilli flakes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice

Procedure:
- In a bowl, add cucumber, tomato and onion. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar and give it a good mix
- Now add salt, black pepper, oregano and chilli flakes with lemon juice and fresh mozzarella*. Mix it well to ensure that mozzarella is well coated
- Add the diced avocado and croutons and serve it fresh
*Generally, recipes suggest to add mozzarella later, but we would suggest to add it with the spices so that it retains the flavour
