Another great way to eat your greens – this spinach-onion paratha is all you need for a happy and filling brunch on holidays! Best eaten with white butter and pickles, this is a minimal recipe with ingredients handy in your kitchen – spinach, onion, green chili, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, ajwaiin (carom seeds)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups napkin dried spinach (important so it doesn’t create moisture)
- 1 big cup chopped onion
- 2 green chilies chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp ajwaiin (carom seeds)
Procedure:
- Mix all the ingredients together
- Put one feast full of filling in the ball of dough (flatted first)
- Roll into a paratha and cook on a skillet with oil/ghee
- Serve hot with white butter and pickle
